The Service of File and Register is a dependent administrative service of the Secretaría General. It is constituted by the units of General File and General Register.
His mission is to organise and coordinate the management of the documents of the University and guarantee the conservation and diffusion of his documentary heritage, by means of the design, implantation and maintenance of a corporate and integral system of management of the documents of the UA during all his cycle of life, any one that was his support and the organ that have produced them or gathered, basing in values of quality, respect to the valid legislation and service to the university community and to the society.
The service gestiona the documentation in any support, from the moment in that you generate or receive until his destruction or definite conservation, in accordance with the norms approved by the University and the valid legislation.
Aims
Support the administrative management of the University, so much regarding the operation of his organs or services, as regarding the relations of the University with other institutions or with the citizens in general.
Fulfil with the obligation that has the University, like public administration, to conserve and do accessible his documentary heritage of historical value and of investigation.
Functions
To achieve his aims the Service of File and Register realises a double function:
Gestionar The active administrative documentation of the University, in accordance with uniform procedures of treatment that facilitate his organisation and access. Inside this function frames the activity of the General Register and of the files of offices that organise, conserve and do accessible the documentation in his active stage.
Custodiar The documentation semiactiva and historical of the University, organising and putting to disposal the documentation that still can serve of support to the administrative activity, and conserving and facilitating the access to the documentation of historical value so that it can be consulted with ends of study and investigation. This function exerts it the General File of the University.
